TAN SLEEVE

05/07  -  Well, all our business/fan contact seems to be done on Myspace these days. Go there if you want fun. Meanwhile, Tan Sleeve continues to record their next Long Player, 'Sleeping With The Experts' which should accompany the next President.

05/07  -  Tan Sleeve have, for the time being, retired from live performing to concentrate on recording and helping the blind regain their sight.

11/10  - American Blood is now available at iTunes.

It's that time of year again, where Tan Sleeve emerges from the multi-track cave and actually plays some gigs. These are both part of IPO.

06/30 - "American Blood" is doing great in the early going. We were just interviewed for an article in the next issue of "Amplifier". Meanwhile, you can read an online interview here.

05/05 - Two births on one day: May 10th, 2005 saw the birth of baby boy Arden Enoch to Steve and his wife, Jaimie. Just a few hours earlier, the UPS man delivered the long-awaited boxes carrying "American Blood". Several copies were extracted from box #1, and rushed over to the delivery room. Jaimie, (who took the front cover pic) said between contractions, "Nice job". Soon after, we said the same to her. Very exciting. Lyrics will be up shortly, shorty!

04/05 - "American Blood" CD is being pressed up as I write. Lyrics will be posted soon (for lack of a tree-wasting insert). Song line-up is:

American Blood - When Lindsey Buckingham Shaved His Beard - Baby Took A Good Man Down - The Girls Like The Hits - Mr. Combover - Walk Me Through It - Partly Girl, Portly Boy - I Love The Way You Turn - I'll Know It's Spring - European Hard Candy - Every Time He Breaks Your Heart - I'd Love It If You Broke My Heart - Time Poor - Condoleezza Will Lead Us.

03/05 - Well, where to begin? Things have gone completely nuts since "Condoleezza Will Lead Us" was picked up on by http://www.americansforrice.com. There have been thousands of downloads with at least a hundred of them going to the State Department server. YOWZA! The song was on CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NPR, and who knows where else? Here are some links:

Crazy, huh? Anyway, the new CD is on the cusp of being released. Should be very soon. Check back for updates.

12/04 - Two songs from the upcoming Tan Sleeve CD, "American Blood", are available for a short time for download at .99/each. They are "Condoleezza Will Lead Us" & "American Blood". Click on the link:  http://www.zuzula.com/artist.php?id=87

Some great new reviews in.

Holiday special on "Bad From Both Sides" - $8!! We take Paypal, Wampum, and Barter.

11/04 - Gigs went great, lotsa fun. At Lane's show, R. Stevie Moore & Chris Breetveld came up onstage to sing on "Hold Me Tight". Then R. Stevie unleashed his mighty guitar for a searing version of Syd Barrett's "Chapter 24". Two songs from Tan Sleeve's next CD ("Sleeping With The Experts") are available for download (link below). They are "Condoleezza Will Lead Us" & "American Blood". A steal at less than a buck apiece...

The Eastern European tour went well, save for the bad experience with the money-changers in Bratislava. We should have listened to the skinny girl on the train, but the green hair threw us off. Food was good and plentiful, if you like pig. Drinking was good as well, if you like beer. Lane went on red wine withdrawl, but that was cured by a nice South African Pinotage on the flight home. The nice stewardess heard our record and kept giving us both complimentary cognac, which led to a blinding headache somewhere over the Atlantic. Customs declaration included a little bag with foreign writing filled with vomit. We were moved to the front of the line...Since we've been back we've been working on the next CD, tentatively titled "Sleeping With The Experts". Recent songs completed include a nice little ditty about a pedophile, a song about a girl who loves hit records, and a song about a woman with a big bush. In her backyard. Oh well....

We plan on playing some more shows this coming year, so check back.   See ya after the election.
